The grave of a 2-year old Ludka Królikowska who died on August 7th, 1863, in an explosion of a covert gunpowder manufacturing plant that produced ammunition for the ongoing January Uprising.

Erazm Józef Jerzmanowski (1844-1909) was a Polish engineer and philanthropist known as a "man who lit America". Living in New York City for over twenty years with 17 patents granted to him in the gas industry technology, he managed to gather a fortune estimated at the time as the third largest in the US. In 1896 Jerzmanowski together with his American wife Anna decided to leave America and settle in Prokocim, now a peripheral district of Kraków.
