This church was funded in 1440-1450 by Jan Długosz, a famous Polish chronicle writer and a teacher of king's children. His coat of arms, depicting a bull's head, can be found on the ceiling. The most precious element of the interior is a big wooden crucifix, dating back to cca 1400.
