This stylish stone gate was erected in 1839 by the landowner Ludvík Karel Nádherný to serve as an entrance to the rock town that had just been opened to tourists. By the way, the sight might look familiar if you remember the first "Cronicles of Narnia" movie; pay special attention at about 45 minutes into the film, when a group of children is following the beaver :-). Actually, qute a few parts of the movie were filmed in Adršpach and its surroundings.
