Church of the Holy Spirit in Žehra.

A small village near the Spiš Castle called Žehra is one of the oldest settlements in the region, with the first sign of humans dating back to paleolithic times. A white silhouette of a church standing on a hill above can be seen from afar. Built in 1245-1247, partly Romanesque, partly early Gothic, it is one of the most precious monuments in Slovakia, hiding inside the rare murals from 13-15th century.
